Today we ran to the fence and I saw a flaming fire. I saw a pit hole. Leonard grabbed a shovel and chucked the iron in to the hole. I think we should have a hangi because I can learn things like making a hole and getting the iron out. I can’t wait to eat the delicious hangi. I love hangi and Mrs Crawford likes hangi too. The men worked hard and they were sweating.

The sun is so warm on my left hand side. It feels like I want to go for a swim at the beach. When I look up I see the shiny sun and next to the sun there is a great big cloud and one looks like a fish and the other looks like a crocodile. Leonard
Pukeko
In the paddock there were ten blue bright Pukeko with a dark black back. I saw the white tail and they are tough and have a red beak and are sneaky when they are eating our plants in our garden. Leonard
